Why this matters?

The skills developed in pure investigation roles such as in law enforcement investigations are highly valuable but the private sector brings a different set of expectations, risks, and legal frameworks.

Investigations in the workplace or safeguarding context are less about criminal thresholds and more about fairness, proportionality, and organisational impact. Failing to adapt can lead to misunderstandings, procedural flaws, and reputational damage, both for the organisation and the investigator.

Whether you're moving into HR, safeguarding, compliance, or consultancy roles, understanding how to shift your mindset, approach, and communication is critical.

This course helps you bridge that gap, giving you the clarity, tools, and confidence to thrive in corporate, workplace and safeguarding investigations, while maintaining the investigative integrity you've built in your investigations career.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is for anyone transitioning from an investigations role into corporate, workplace and safeguarding investigations to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence.

We think this course is ideal for:

Will and Kate are highly sought-after trainers known for delivering rigorous, practical solutions that enhance investigative practice and safeguard integrity.

Overall, this was a fantastic course, which I found extremely valuable for future investigations. I think the course is perfectly pitched to cover the fundamental theories but is presented in a way to allow more experienced investigators to still explore and discuss ideas and best practices. Kate and Will were superb hosts who not only shared their wealth of experience and knowledge but created a safe environment to learn and ask questions and explore ideas while feeling comfortable in doing so.
