MEDIATION
Resolving conflict with empathy, professionalism and confidentiality

When individuals or team members face a breakdown in relationships or communication, the impact can be disproportionately damaging, affecting individual well-being, team morale, and overall organisational effectiveness.

Time, energy, and resources are often consumed by unresolved tensions, while productivity and trust suffer.
Mediation offers a structured, impartial, and empathetic pathway forward. It helps to:
-
Reset relationships
-
Resolve misunderstandings
-
Rebuild trust
-
Create space for constructive dialogue

Our mediators work with sensitivity and professionalism to guide individuals and teams toward resolution, restoring clarity, confidence, and collaboration.Â

Mediation can assist when:

-
People stop talking, and it’s affecting the work.

-
There’s tension in the team, but no one’s quite saying it out loud.

-
Two colleagues just don’t get along and it’s starting to drag others in.

-
People are avoiding each other and it’s creating a bad atmosphere.
-
Someone feels left out or treated unfairly, and it’s not being addressed.

-
A manager and team member aren’t seeing eye to eye, and it’s getting in the way.

-
You perceive a complaint or grievance may occur, and you want to be proactive and avoid things escalating.
-
A working relationship has broken down and you’re not sure how to fix it.

-
There’s been a misunderstanding, and it needs clearing up before it grows.

-
You want to sort things out early before formal processes take over.

What we do
We can step in when things have gone quiet, tensions are rising or working relationships have broken down.
Sometimes it’s a long-running issue, sometimes it’s something that’s just flared up. Either way, it’s getting in the way of people doing their jobs.
We help when:
-
The situation feels too sensitive to handle internally
-
You want to avoid things escalating into formal complaints or legal processes
-
You simply don’t have the time, headspace or experience to manage it yourself

Our role is to create a safe space for honest conversation, help people feel heard, and facilitate those involved to find a way forward.

Here’s a snapshot of the types of cases we’ve supported ...
